1 Second Socket Review
The 1 Second Socket fits multiple shapes and sized screws and nuts for quick removal. It is great to tighten the lag bolts and screws. It works on 90 % of the hardware. You can also use the 1 Second Socket in conjunction with your cordless drill to remove numerous eye hooks, bolts, screws, and more that aren’t needed anymore. Without the 1 Second Socket this could take several hours. The 1 Second Socket does not easily install bolts, screws, and nuts. It’s spring-loaded which makes it awkward holding the hardware while installing. Just like any socket or wrench made, you need to have the tool squarely placed on the item you’re using it on, otherwise it may slip.
The 1 Second Socket key does not fit well with large head screws. For small screws, Caneza, it works very well. The handle is simple and lightweight (you may not be able to make heavy use). The extension adapter fulfills its function.
The 1 Second Socket is great. The tool locked so well on a bolt it actually ripped the head off. The only problem with the 1 Second Socket is the depth, the pounds only go back but so far which makes this useless.
The 1 Second Socket works great on light duty jobs.
The 1 Second Socket is a cool tool to own. The only problem with the 1 Second Socket is that it just doesn’t hold up. After using it for half a year the “grips” started to bend and it may get to the point of becoming a useless tool.
The pins are recessed into the body which makes the 1 Second Socket totally useless.
The 1 Second Socket tool does work but requires a significant amount of pressure to keep it engaged on the bolt. It is not a high quality tool but just an average tool.
The 1 Second Socket worked well on its first use but after the first use, the “grip” inside started warping from the torque and the individual metal things inside started getting damaged. It needs to be made with stronger metal.
Using it to tighten a blot and nut combination on wood, the 1 Second Socket tool slipped in a low torque range. So you may not be able to use the 1 Second Socket to tighten any critical stuff.
Used the 1 Second Socket to remove some rounded out seized up bolts on the pre-cats and it didn’t help at all! It just kept slipping out. The ratchet that is included is just a waste, a lot of play in it and definitely not for heavy-duty jobs. The 1 Second Socket may be good for everyday things but it is not recommended for anything heavy-duty.
Used the 1 Second Socket to remove a bolt from a cradle for a car battery but this tool could not get in there far enough to loosen it.
The 1 Second Socket slips some times, then you need to put some pressure or push hard to avoid it.
The 1 Second Socket works good enough but a slight slip to any side and it falls off.
Used the 1 Second Socket for a bolt on the truck but couldn’t even get a half of a twist in before it striped and lost grip, and this was an easily pronounced bolt. The 1 Second Socket is not good for automotive use.
The 1 Second Socket is weak couldn’t handle the pressure on the bolts on the car, especially the older bolts.
The 1 Second Socket is so disappointing, it would not budge a slightly rusted screw, even with repeated spraying of loosening product. In fact, it would not even grip a perfectly proportioned screw. It is not a good buy.
