Compare how does it work? me Sleek vs iluminage

me Sleek employs elōs technology selectively delivering heat from IPL and RF energy to the hair follicle affecting the source of where your hair grows . The hair follicle is destroyed, thereby removing and reducing the amount of hair you’re left with in the treated area. elōs technology can be used safely and effectively on all skin tones including naturally dark skin.

iluminage – Powered by elos technology, the iluminage Precise Touch Permanent Hair Reduction device technology delivers permanent results on all skin tones, and the widest range of hair colors. Precise Touch treatments disable the hair follicle preventing unwanted hair from growing back. It is gentle, compact, and easy to use. With iluminage you experience the freedom of silky-smooth skin without the hassles of shaving and waxing.

Compare Technology: me Sleek vs iluminage

me Sleek employs unique, patented and remarkably effective, elōs technology that combines Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Radio Frequency (RF) to work rapidly and safely than traditional at-home and professional hair removal technologies. Wherever the targeted area, each hair follicle is targeted and permanently disabled, stopping the growth of hair and delivering permanent results. elōs hair removal technology is FDA cleared and has been used in professional dermatologist offices for over 15 years.

me Sleek – Unlike other treatment methods, me Sleek delivers permanent hair reduction results without the side effects. It is both safe and effective on light, fair, medium, olive, brown and darkest skin tones, and blonde, dark blonde and red hair.

Every hair in our body goes through a complete growth cycle, from an active to resting phase. Light-based treatments work best on hairs in their active phase. Treating the areas of unwanted hair multiple times is necessary to target hair in the active cycle. After a hair follicle is treated, it can take one to two weeks for the hair to fall out. During this time, it may look like hair is still growing, but actually the hair is being “pushed out”. You may or may not see these hair stubs pushed out from the skin.

iluminage – Use the iluminage on the same area once a week for 7 treatments over 6 weeks. Perform additional monthly treatments, after completing the first 7 treatments.

It is recommended to treat the face every 1-2 weeks.

me Sleek REVIEW

Myrtle Fisher says in her review of me Sleek says- “The fan in the applicator isn’t braced properly and I could feel it wiggling around inside as I used the device. Also, the buttons on both units were barely responsive. Most of the time they would do nothing but blink when I tried to select the power level. When I did get one of them to work, it would shut off after a few minutes of use”.

Janice Guzman claims in her me Sleek review- “It was a bit hotter than my old Me Smooth. It left a few red marks on my skin that took a few hours to fade”.

Dolores Higgins mentions in her me Sleek review that she used it for 10 weeks on different parts of her body and none of them reduced any hair.

Angelica Morris complains in her me Sleek review that it is not comfortable to use on sensitive skin (armpits and face). She was afraid she’d burn her skin.

Laurence Walton states in his review of me Sleek– “ I have a few problem areas of hair that I wanted to get rid of, but upon close inspection of the device warnings, I discovered that it’s not recommended for use on a man’s face, jaw, or neck and the neck was the main area I wanted to use it on. Apparently, it can result in ‘skin injury’.

Juanita Duncan claims in her review of me Sleek that it does not work. She used it for 10 weeks on different parts of her body and none of them reduced any hair.

Another user Renee West says in her me Sleek review- “ The hand-held device is connected to the main unit by a cord which is sufficiently long; however, I wish that the electrical cord from the main unit to the wall plug was longer. I also find that, being an overall ‘humid’ person (sweating more than average) it is hard to glide this along my skin, especially on hot days or immediately after a shower”.

Tiffany Neal who bought the me Sleek complains in her review of me Sleek– “The light that it puts out is extremely bright, so I insist that they use sunglasses to protect their eyes since the flashes of light are very intense. I was surprised to not find any mention of eye protection in the product description but I highly recommend using sunglasses and trying not to look at the light (which makes it hard to control the motion over the skin)”.

Irma Lee who tried me Sleek says in her me Sleek review- “ I find it randomly shuts off after doing one leg so I have to get up, unplug, wait and plug it back in. That’s annoying. It doesn’t hurt but it is time consuming”.

Kendra Gross states in her me Sleek review- “No protective eye-wear included nor any mention of needing them in the instructions. Instructions say to shave or epilate prior to use. Shaving is great – do it but epilating? Not so much and is bad advice. The laser needs pigment from the hair in the root to target to be able to kill the hair follicle”.

iluminage REVIEW

Kristi Potter is unhappy with iluminage and says in her review of it that she is disappointed in the lack of results so far.

Vickie Adams states in her iluminage review- “If you have sensitive skin or don’t mind waiting for results, then please follow their instructions”.

Alexandra Nunez who tried iluminage says in her review of it that it is no good for long hair and you need to shave it before using the device.

Another user Carole Saunders says in her iluminage review- “Legs take a long time to zap because the light window is so small”.
