Compare Pros and Cons:
Vitamix e310 Pros
Joyce Perez says- “Really powerful and the smoothies have been good.”
Elsie Hall writes- “If you want a juicer and blender, with a little extra effort, and a lot less clean up, E310 is your answer.”

Lillie Chandler says the Vitamix e310 is very easy to clean – you just put a little hot water and dish soap and let it run for 10-20 seconds.

Kristin Green mentions that the motor is really powerful and has a lot of torque. Grinding up harder items like nuts or ice is easy.

Louise Maldonado says- “There is a small recipe book included which has great tips on how to use the Vitamix.”

Vitamix e310 Cons
Angie Williams says the problem with the Vitamix e310 is the noise level. It is so loud that she really can’t use the higher settings.

Ora Diaz writes- “The container shape is still narrow, even though it’s shorter. I noticed that after five minutes on the highest settings, there is a little layer of grease that ends up on the lower base.”

Bonnie Holland mentions that the blender is a bit taller, so if you are planning on storing it below your cabinets ensure to have enough height.

Gladys Mack states that it is quite loud when revved up to full speed, sounding more like a jet engine than a blender.

Vitamix 5300 Pros
Marian Townsend writes that it is very easy to clean.

Ernestine Hayes says – “Very powerful (when using large quantities). It has great value and looks great on the counter.”

Vitamix 5300 Cons
Nancy Dixon states- “Model doesn’t have the auto acceleration selection for making smoothies.”

Brittany Sanchez writes that it is not dish washer safe.

Patricia Patton says it is too noisy.

Tiffany Richardson mentions that the container should have been made of glass instead of plastic given the price point.

Brandi May states that the blades get jammed occasionally.

Allison Ray says when she used the Vitamix 5300, small, burnt and shredded pieces of rubber were all over her kitchen counter.

Vitamix Legacy 5200 Pros

Tabitha Horton mentions that it is smoother, easier to clean and so far there has been no discoloration of the rubber parts.

Agnes Weber writes that the Vitamix Legacy 5200 has a 7 year warranty.

Sandra Cobb states that the Vitamix Legacy 5200 is a powerful, excellent professional quality machine.

Miriam Robertson writes- “Comes with a detailed, full color cookbook with great recipes. Highly recommend this for people with kids too. Smoothies can hide so many veggies!”

Vitamix Legacy 5200 Cons
Pearl Dean mentions- “On high speeds the blender container moves around and comes unattached to the spinning mechanism.”

Lucia Franklin says that she is disappointed that the canister is not glass. Also, there may be little blacks specks of teflon in your food.

Verna Dawson writes that the only thing fancy about the Vitamix Legacy 5200 is the price tag.

Meghan Barker says that it is difficult to clean and it does not clean itself.

Kristina Pope states- “The blades also make it very difficult to recover food. If I want to puree a small amount of food, much of it is lost in the container, or left behind in the container.”

Melba Moss says that the blade seems dull, food gets stuck beneath the blade, and the motor stopped working.

Desiree Stevens writes that there were big grains left in the smoothie.

Vitamix Legacy 7500 Pros
Lorraine Aguilar says- “Powerful motor that blends smoothies and frozen drinks better than my previously owned blenders.”

Jessica Lowe writes-“Makes hot soup in 6 – 8 minutes. It is also easy to use and blends dry grains into fine powder. The texture quality is good for smoothie or fruit juice extraction.”

Mamie Diaz mentions- “Very sturdy construction, great blending, included documentation is outstanding including a large book of popular recipes.”

Vitamix Legacy 7500 Cons
Celia Gutierrez mentions-“The orange gasket under the container is not designed to seal out liquid, but only to dampen the vibration of the running motor.”

Irene Reeves says she noticed tiny black specks on her smoothies. She did a Google search and found out the specs are Teflon particles.

Genevieve Goodwin says that it blends “easy” things but if you throw anything sticky or hard to blend in and it shuts itself off.

Tasha Cruz complains that the collection of liquid under the container is not limited to the 7500 model, but a “common occurrence across all Vitamix blenders.

Lana Ramos says that it stopped working after making soup in its 8th use. She says the electrical smell and motor froze after only using pulse mode. It’s not worth the money. She expected much more from a brand name that is supposed to represent quality.

Sonia Wolfe claims that the lowest setting and the highest settings make the same amount of noise; even hitting the pulse made no difference in how the machine ran.

Ruby Craig writes-“The container is too large and you can’t make single servings of anything.”

Ellen Wong says that there is too much room on the sides of the blades for un-chopped food to accumulate.

Phyllis Norman complains that it wouldn’t turn off unless you pulled the cord, the start/stop switch is not secure, and it is not very good for making batter or smooth pulp.

Belinda Allison says that there was a slight “electrical” smell even after light duty operation.

Becky Bishop writes that it is cheap and flimsy, and she is disappointed in the plastic jar.

Tara Wheeler says- “While making smoothies large chunks of fruit are left when finished with a blend.”

Nancy Fox writes- “Design is not as effective blending smaller smoothies. The fruit does not fall back into the blades. Even fresh blueberries will not completely blend.”

Hazel Doyle says that cream soups tasted like chemicals.

Patricia Wise complains that there is lack of visibility of the measurement markings on the container.

Tricia Garrett states that it moves around the counter while blending and it doesn’t handle small amounts of liquid very well.
